Complete Unistall
Ok so randomly my firefox browser (and other windows, like windows explorer, and even other programs) when I open them they come up with a weird bar at the top. Hopefully you can see the screen shot of it, its a light blue header with funny square buttons (I have windows vista and it shouldnt look like that), and usually after restarting my computer it goes away. The only thing I can think of it is last year I downloaded a program called Foxit Reader for editing pdfs, then uninstalled it when the free trial was up, and that program had a light blue header like that. When installing it it offered me a web tool bar and I said no.
Does anyone know what this blue header is? And if its leftover from the uninstalled program how would I get rid of it?
Thanks!

looks like firefox has a theme on it. If you want to turn it off go to tools -> add-ons -> themes and select default theme
edit: Your foxit reader sounds sketchy. I have foxit as well but it never asked to install a toolbar, nor did it have a trail period. It just puts a stamp on all the pages I edit to say it was done with the free copy.

If you're taking about the blue floral theme of Firefox, it's a Persona theme installed on Firefox. To restore firefox back to it's default appearance: - Open the Add-ons dialog box by going to "Tools->Add-ons"
- Click on the "Extensions" button on the top
- Select "Personas"
- Click "Uninstall"
- Restart Firefox
However, I don't think you're referring to that, because you mentioned that it's on other explorer windows too, not just FF. Maybe you're referring to the black thing hidden above the title bar? If so, I'm not sure what that is. We can't exactly see it in your screenshot. It's just showing FF with the Persona, and the black thing (which looks like a hidden dock). And they're two separate things; they're not related.

You can use nitro pdf instead of foxit. It doesn't waterstamp each page
To the OP: If you want to complete uninstall then I suggest using iobit uninstaller.

Yea, but it only has a 14 day trial, and frankly I don't feel like pirating or paying for a pdf editor.

The PDF reader is free, I downloaded it from there website a long time ago.
http://www.nitroreader.com/
Some of the features on the free version:
Creating PDFs from other windows application (although you can save as a PDF in microsoft office anyways, so it's kind of useless for me).
Typing text on the page (you can also type off the page to the side if you prefer).
Taking snapshots (like printscreen except you can print a single picture or group of text)
Adding notes (I never use it though, I usually only use typing text).
Highlight, Crossout and underline.

Thanks everyone. No Im not referring to the black line at the top, I know thats my drop down thing that Vista has. No not the theme, I like FF themes and I change them all the time and I know how. I mean the very top horizontal bar, the one thats light blue. Right now as we speak mines black, but randomly it turns blue and once that happens, all my windows have a blue bar at the top. The only reason I think it has to do with foxit is because when I had foxit, it always had the blue bar at the top and I assumed that was just how the program was designed.
JHAN: what's iobit uninstaller?

This has absolutely nothing to do with FF or this free trial thing.
This is an issue with your Windows 7 visual theme. I would suggest updating your graphics driver. Or changing your Theme to something else and then back again.

It's what I use to uninstall my stuff. It's pretty safe to use even if you aren't a computer genius. I generally get lazy when there are hundreds of registry items to go through to make sure you aren't deleting anything important and end up deleting everything without checking. I've never had any problems by doing so, but if you do encounter something then you can just system restore since it makes a restore point before every uninstall.
