contacting room mates
Hello everyone! I am very confused about how we contact our room mates, or in my case suite mates. On my application which lists where I am and who my suite mates are, there is a thing that says send message next to each person. I sent my messages but where do these go? I mean, where will they be received? How do I know if one of my suite mates has already sent me a message?

Usually it's your McMaster e-mail. Do they not provide their non-McMaster e-mail address?

We cant activate our mac email right now so the message is sent to the email you wrote in when creating your mac id. So it will go to your hotmail/gmail/or whatever your email is

You can't activate your MacID services? That's kind of odd... I remember activating it pretty early...

I remember activating MacID services pretty early, but it was still a while before I could recieve emails to @mcmaster.ca...at the beginning, it had to be @muss.cis.mcmaster.ca , or I wouldnt recieve it :S

If you provided them with a non-McMaster email, then it would probably be that one? In MUGSI, you can select which one is your primary email. You can also redirect all of your Mac emails to your other account. If you're worried that something will get sent to your Mac account that you might miss, you might want to do that. This way, you're pretty much guaranteed that any msgs from your suitemates will go to your regular email.
