A conversation with Michael Ignatieff @ McMaster University
Message from an email by Dr Alexandre Sevigny:
Michael Ignatieff is coming to McMaster for 90 minutes of frank, open mike conversation with students about our ideas, suggestions and concerns about the future of Canada.
Mr. Ignatieff will be speaking for a few minutes and then engaging in open and frank discussion with the audience. The conversation will be open and free-wheeling. It is a chance engage Mr. Ignatieff in discussion and get the word out about the importance of post-secondary education in a clear and unfettered forum.
Here are the details:
A CONVERSATION WITH MICHAEL IGNATIEFF
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 13, 2010
2:30-4pm
Convocation Hall
This event is part of a cross-Canada campus tour for Mr. Ignatieff to meet with young Canadians in the lead-up to "Canada at 150: Rising to the Challenge" - a non-partisan conference being held in Montreal in March 2010.
I encourage you to participate. There are only three stops in Ontario and McMaster University is one of them. This is a unique opportunity for you to get to know Mr. Ignatieff and discuss our ideas and visions for Canada with a potential Prime Minister.
Seating is limited and the event is likely to be quite popular.

While I am thinking about attending this event, I wouldn't classify the upcoming conference as non-partisan. After all it is a part of the Liberal's policy development process.

As for the non-partisan comment: I'm reporting (technically copying), not commenting on the event
