Haha.. not sure about meeting people in the common room.. Kinda awkward when you're talking to someone and cooking.. and then..

You usually start the year loving the cafeteria food, and then near the middle of second semester it starts to get a bit old.

I've skillfully managed to deplete my meal plan exactly on the last meal of the year in both my first and second year.

You only need to finish your basic account which is probably around 2300ish. The rest is on your flex/freedom which means it rolls over to the next year or you can withdraw it.
