Course Cancellation
Hi!
I just cancelled a course but it still shows on avenue to learn and on my personal exam timetable. Can anyone please tell me what this means?
Thanks in advance!

It might show up on Avenue for the rest of the term, don't worry about it.
I don't think it matters that it's on your Personal Exam Timetable. As long as it is gone from MUGSI, you're good. I had a canceled course on my Exam Timetable last year and it meant nothing.

But if you want to double check for peace of mind, you can ask the Registrar.

a bit off topic but since you canceled a course this far in you probably know.... what exactly are the penalties? like will it hurt the chances of getting into grad school?

@lolidunno , i am not entirely sure, but i think most grad schools look at your last 2 years, some only the last year (at least that's how it is for engineering ) . Also, i am not sure if it affects getting into professional school.

Most grad schools don't care about one or two canceled courses. It would only be an issue if you had a lot, for example, 3 canceled course each term. Having a few throughout your 3/4 years at Mac isn't something to worry about.
