course permission
i received a course permission to take a take but I still get an error message on SOLAR? anyone have any suggestions?

E-mail them again! They should fix it up for you.

but is there a special way i should be adding the course on solar?

There isn't really a "special way" to add a course on SOLAR. If you have course permission, then you should be able to put in the course the way you normally would and the system should have your information and bypass whatever restrictions were set.

I would suggest either e-mailing them like Faer said, or just visiting your faculty adviser and they can usually fix it for you on the spot and register you for the course right there.
