course requirements for med school
i might be writing the MCAT in the future and someone had told me one needs to complete one english course in uni and physics 1b03 is also needed beacause it has a lab component.

i have to take physics 1ls3 in my first year as i do not have gr 12 physics can i take 1b03 in my second year?

Yes, you can take physics 1b03 in second year.

and do i need to take an english course? im not that great at essays and i dont want it such a course to effect my average.

Yep, and I think some schools even require a full year.

you have to look at whichever schools you will be applying to.

mcmaster doesnt even have course requirements to get into their medical program... infact you dont even have to write the entire MCAT for mcmaster... i think its just the written portion.

in essence... look directly to the schools you will be applying to and judge which courses you should take based on what will keep most doors open.

You have to write the entire MCAT, Mac just considers the verbal portion. This just became a part of the admission process this past year.
