in-course scholarship?
Hi guys. I heard taht you get an in-course scholarship if you get a 9.5 average (for undergraduate) in the university. What's this scholarship called???

If they gave out anything more than $0.50 per scholarship, the university would go bankrupt. 9.5 is ridiculously low for an (academic) scholarship.

9.5 is the cut-off for scholarships generally, but don't count on getting an academic one unless you've done well (i.e. 10.5-11+ average). You could get a community scholarship, however.

to add to this, the cutoff for mac scholarship last year, atleast in science was something around 11.4.

Yes.

Of course, they're not going to go giving money to people with average GPAs...so the people who get GPAs that high are probably significantly above the average.
It's always interesting going through the list for the award for people with a 12 average (ie, 12 in every course).

there's two scholarships, the lower one cutoff is about 10.8

The good news is, if you do indeed obtain a GPA in science > 11.4, you can tell your friends you got a scholarship from/entitled "Harry Hooker".
