Course Selection
So Course selection for Engineering I opens next week on Wednesday and i was wondering if I have to select the Cores / Labs / Tutorial Sections or will they be automatically assigned. What do I have to indicate when I select the courses.

99% of courses are automatically assigned. The sections that is.

Basically it's just a drop down menu, where you pick the subject, the course code, and then the time it's available. At least I think it's that way for all faculties.

Well, when you first select your courses, you are just selecting the core courses (lectures) and their time slot (either day or night). Once timetables are released, I believe Solar re-opens in August sometime, and then you are able to go in and switch times around and what not, depending on what is available and what isn't. I think that's true of all faculties.
