You mean when can you begin the fight for a spot on MUGSI to register? I don't think that's been released yet according to the "Getting Registered" section on the Registrar's site

It says we'll be able to plan out what courses/times we want and make our schedules by the first week in June.

Ya the times that the courses are going to be at in the fall will be available June 8th I believe, but you can only select the courses on SOLAR later on in June or early July depending on your program and year.

neb21 says thanks to ingénieur.xo for this post.

Is it weird that I'm excited to choose my courses and make my timetable? Oh man, now I know what to do with it -- no more 3 hour and 2 hour breaks in one day.

And I hope that I can have no more 8:30 classes, so brutal :X

Agreed. They are brutal, especially when it's math!

During the first term, I had Math at 8:30 three days a week. During second term, I had 8:30 Physics and Biology so I had to wake up at 8:30 everyday. I was done all my classes earlier than everyone else but it was so not worth it! I felt so lazy in the morning and sometimes I wouldn't even wake up. So now I'll never select a class before 10:30 unless I have no choice.

Damn. I had french three times a week in the morning. It was easy, but like, no one wants to wake up for that. And no one did really.

I hated like, 4:30 classes on fridays, ughh. Especially when I wanted to hop on a bus to go home, I'd have to stay allll day and wait.

But with the possible cutbacks, a class may only have one certain time during the week unfortunately.

In upper years, it becomes more rare for there to be multiple sections of courses unfortunately...since Mac's a relatively small university.

So then you end up getting stuck in, ie, 4th year Complex Analysis at 8:30 in the morning...needless to say, I wound up not going and then struggling with the course more than I should have, haha.

Treasure your freedom first years!!!

I had it even worse (along with everyone else in first year engineering). Every test for almost every class in first semester always occurred on Fridays after 7:00 PM. I sometimes had a three hour physics lab right before that too...
