Just wondering what are some courses that have an in-class final exam, take home exam, or do not have a final exam at all?

I have taken Life Sciences 2A03 and 3A03, neither of which had a final exam. I have also taken Biochemistry 3G03 where the final exam was optional.

Life Sci 3D03 also has no final, just a group project at the end of the term. Easy course as well.

I understand that there is a general tendency to require final exams in first year and second year courses. Apparently there is more flexibility with third year courses, and probably no reason for a final exam in a fourth year course. Of course, there are always exceptions.

Generally, it's courses with experiential learning such as Life Sci 3EP3 or a thesis Life Sci 4A03/6/9. Also seminar courses do not have exams as well.

Life Sci 3Z03: Inquiry usually do not have exams and are more discussion based.
Some of the Origins courses have more focus on essays or presentations/projects and use these to replace the exam.
Earth Science 3U03: it's got a big project at the end as an exam replacement.
Life Sci 3F03: This one has a take-home exam.
