With a doctor's prescription, some insurance plans will cover them - orthotics are expensive and you won't get them for free (including the McMaster sports medicine clinic), whether you're a student or not. You should check with your insurance plan to see what is covered. If you're covered under the MSU, you can find details of the coverage online.
