More volunteers are needed to help out with at risk youth and kids in Hamilton. Please consider signing up or let your friends know!
Groups that particularly need volunteers are:

Bennetto Classroom Support (Bennetto Public School) – Tuesdays (1:30pm-3:30pm) – Work with students in grades K-8 who need support with literacy skills and computer programs (instruction on how to use programs is provided in advance).

YOUth Create (Afterschool program) HARRRP – Thursdays (3:00pm-6:15pm) – Help facilitate an afterschool program for youth in grades 6-8, with activities such as crafts, sports, cooking, and local trips. Act as a positive role model, friend and mentor to the youth.

Pathways to Education – Tuesdays (4:30pm-8:00pm) – Interact and provide assistance to recent immigrant youth through mentoring, tutoring and conversation.

LAF (Learning and Fun) afterschool program- Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays (3:00pm-5:30pm) - Tutor and mentor at-risk kids from Grades 1-8 in small groups and one-on-one using fun and creative tools to teach academics.

Dr. Davey Breakfast and Nutrition Program – Fridays (7:45am-9:45am) – Assist with food prep for nutrition and breakfast programs. Engage children in positive conversation during breakfast, while teaching respect, and playing games.
