DC++ login
Hey, I was just wondering how to get on the Mac's DC++ server. Or whatever it is, however that works. I have DC++, but past that I'm clueless.

Quick question. Trying to connect while on campus wirelessly (ie. Mills, MUSC, Thode) is impossible right? I can set up DC++ fine from off campus but was hoping that I could get better speeds while on campus.

Yeah I'm confused too. I mean, I was in Thode and tried to connect to the server (which I found out is machub.dyndns.org), and it conencts just fine. I can chat with people.
But when I search for a file, it takes an infinite amount of time, and never actually comes up with any files or connected hubs/peers.
Do I need to be on the RESIDENCE LAN for this to work, or will it work anywhere?

You can either use the residence lan to get amazing speeds or you can connect through an off campus router but your speeds will be significantly slower. I don't think you can connect wirelessly while on campus though.
