DC++ in the wireless network?
I was just wondering, why hasn't a separate DC++ server been setup for the wireless network of the school outside the residential system? I'm sure there are plenty of people who would be willing to share their stuff during and between classes, and it would benefit people who can't use the residential DC++ system... like me :p

Well, I'm sure nobody's thinking about the guy who's running the residential one...

the residential one is hosted on a computer in a guy's room
he leaves it on all the time. Not very difficult to run a server from a computer that way. Especially if you have a spare computer.

Except res tends to not be near the wireless hotspots on campus.

Not to mention that you have to re-sign-on to the network every so often or something like that.

Then I guess the only thing we can do it attach a radio tower to that guy's room.
