The Student Community Support Network (SCSN) is now hiring!
SCSN is an MSU service with the aim of promoting the development of positive relationships between McMaster students living in the area and permanent residents.
We do this through a number of ways, including volunteer programs (such as the resident buddy program), the peer-to-peer program and working closely with the City of Hamilton, the university and other community groups.

We are looking to hire:
3 Community Standards Assistants
Do you have an interest in law? Enjoy walking, biking and being outdoors? The position of CSA involves patrolling neighbourhoods in the McMaster area and monitoring property standards. Work closely with the City of Hamilton! Strong organizational skills and sense of direction required.
6 Community Resource Assistants
Did you miss the cut-off to be a CA? Is volunteering in the community something important to you? CRAs act as off-campus CAs and are each assigned to a different area surrounding McMaster. You are responsible for promoting volunteering in the community and visiting houses to educate students and deal with complaints.
Community Assistant Coordinator
Do you like to be in charge? We are looking for someone to train and manage our CRAs. This position also involves the planning and running of some community events. Also liasing with other on-campus organizations and a bit of promotion.
Newsletter and Promotions Coordinator
Do you have an artistic flair or passion for journalism? Then SCSN needs you for designing posters and putting together our newsletter! This job involves researching and writing articles as well as formatting the newsletter.
