It's different for everyone, Earth Science would be a good course to take if you are actually interested in the material. If you are not willing to learn about the types of rocks and whatever else the course is about than you won't be motivated to do it. I found econ easier, I find if you keep up with Econ which doesn't require a lot of time, you can easily pull a 12 in it.

enviro 1a03 is a joke. get some friends with you to take it and do the 4-5 quizzes together. he will make 1 quiz which everyone gets 100 on. only the labs take some time but they are every other week and still easy since step by step instructions are given completely. and if the prof is bernier, he will give you the exam beforehand. everyone should get 10 in this at the very least. i cant see it making your load heavier by much

if you're talking about easier courses I'd say take labour studies 1a03 I'm in it now and I've found it to be quite easy.. you only have two essays, no midterms/tests.. and a final exam. Its kind of boring lol but its not hard.

Welcome to university - the whole point is that it takes effort. Your elective is someone else's major.

Envir Sc 1b03 requires you to put effort into it and (hopefully) some genuine interest. Dr. Bernier provides skeleton notes that require you to attend lectures and shows movies as well. This man wants you to do well so he'll occasionally drop hints for the exam.
@coffeecappu Sean Carey hasn't taught 1A03 before but he's a cold regions hydrologist so the material is within his sphere of knowledge. Compared to Bernier who taught it last year, he's a but disorganized.. but funny though.
