Degree Audit
alright so I'm going into second year...and degree audit's kind of confuse me but it says that I have met all my requirements for the honours program and such so that makes sense to me haha. Now I chose my courses for this upcoming september and I looked at my degree audit and like beside three of the courses it says "outstanding 24 units" or "outstanding 12 units". I have NO idea what this means. Can someone please help me out because it sounds kind of scary. Why are they only beside certain courses? and what do they mean?

Outstanding usually means that you've yet to fulfill those requirements. Before, it said that all the requirements were met because that's what you needed for first year. Now that you've chosen a program for the rest of your years at Mac, you have new mandatory classes that you need to take.

Now, the Degree Audit is basically a breakdown of all the courses you need to take to complete your degree. Usually there's several lists of courses with a number of units beside them. Just like the undergraduate calendar, you'll need to take that many units from the courses listed there.

So near the top, you'll see things like:

A. Outstanding 3 units
C. Outstanding 12 units

and so on right? When you see that, scroll down, look for the lists with letters beside them and you'll see how many more units you need to take from that list. So from list A you need 3 units, from list C, 12 units and so on.

so basically it's just telling me how many units I have left to complete throughout the next three years from each of those lists?

Yes, it's pretty much the same as the undergraduate calendar except the Degree Audit is personalized in such a way that it shows that you've completed certain courses.
