Did anyone apply for the Life science 2a03 TA posting?
If so...
Did you hear anything back? Dr. Dej is extremely hard to get a hold of!

I applied and didn't hear back either. I tried contacting her with no luck and now I've accepted another job offer...

Indeed, same stuff here. Applied, no reply back. Not sure if she's decided on others or if she's making the decisions later in August.

I thought I was the only one who didnt hear back. I haven't heard back either and I have emailed her a few times by now. I think she should get back to us around mid August or even late August.

im hoping thats the case... originally in the posting it mentioned interviews would commence immediately so i'm suprised.

Err, you don't always get contacted by an employer who's job you applied for, unless you already were contacted at least once...

Hmm? Well we were contacted saying she received our applications. Considering none of us here ever heard back we were wondering whether she hadn't made any decisions yet or that she's already done them all. |

When i emailed her my application, she replied back really fast and told me she will let me know about interviews the following week but i guess she got really busy.

Ohh, so I guess I'm not the only one who didn't get a response from Dr. Dej about this. I guess she'll email us later this month then. By the way, what GPA's do professors usually expect out of TAs? My GPA is like a 10ish. I'm not sure if this is too low.

no, i would have least expected some sort of communication saying so...I hand delivered my application wayy back in april and i left it in her mailbox...i assume she lost it :S

Yea, perhaps it got lost. I sent mine online on May 27th, which was the deadline but I wasnt contacted till end of August.
