Different profs for core and tutorial possible?
Hi everyone,

I was wondering if we are allowed to take the core of one prof but on the timetable take the tutorial of another prof?

In my case for MATH 2Z03 I have Core 1 (with Protas , which I hope I can eventually change) and Tutorial 1 with Protas as well. Is it okay if I choose another tutorial section with a different prof?

Thanks and good luck with your timetables.

Depends whether or not the tutorials are mandatory (which for Math 2Z03, I think is unlikely).

If they're not mandatory, then you can simply attend whatever tutorial you like, and simply drop into your TA's office hours to pick up any assigned homework problems/tests.

Of course by mandatory, I mean anything like (but not limited to) quizzes written in tutorial, or participation grades.

But the Professors don't run the tutorials by the way...you should have a graduate student running your section. (The tutorial is labelled "PROTAS" because people in the section with PROTAS attend that one)
