I'm not really surprised with that, Companies have begun to statistically and logically organize their hiring processes to make it more successful and streamlined.
You guys should read the essay/chapter on rational racism by Tim Harford. Where he described studies and investigations that showed companies partake in "rational racism" where they dump all african american sounding names even below less qualified white counterparts because statistically white applicants are more likely to be more educated and less involved with crime yada yada. Its shocking when you think of it but for the companies in the long run it is statistically more profitable.
