Do first years work with AutoCad?
Hey I was just wondering if first year engineering students work with Auto Cad, and if so, would we need to have it on our own computers?
Thanks in advance!

You'll be working with Autodesk Inventor Professional 2011, which is 3D CAD

Yeah you'll need it on your own computer but I believe you download it free on the website. Once you start classes, the prof will provide some instructions on how to install the program on your own computer. It takes up a lot of space though...couple gbs if I remember

Hi Viktor, the program that we used in 1c03 is called "Autodesk Inventor Professional 2011". You don't need to have it on your computer before school starts, because once school starts your prof is gonna tell you where you can download it from. Also, downloading the program takes a long time, it took me and my friends around 4 hours to download it :/
