I wouldn't be surprised. Bed bugs are everywhere. Anywho, if you're concerned you'll want to see if there are bites. Bites come in three. I'd also suggest contacting the student centre, also if you think you've been in contact bag your clothes and wash your sheets in hot water and dry with hot heat, remove clutter and vaccuum the seems of your mattress and couch.

If there's bedbug in there, the location would be locked down and disinfected for good.

People do a lot of things on those couches, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were bugs and other things on them XO
