Do we need phys 1B03 for going to pharmacy school?

Do we need phys 1B03 for going to pharmacy school?
I see that only Bio 2A03 requires phys 1b03 but I dont even need to take that course

idk. probably depends on the school. go to a pharmacy school websites n see the prereqs.

I did and I found that I don't need phys 1B03, is there a specific reason why most people are taking it?

well if you're in life sci, some specializations in second year require that you have taken physics 1b03, so maybe that's why. and the mcat,pcat, dat have physics components so its good knowledge.

you just answered your own question then

and everyone doesnt want to do pharmacy...and its first year physics. it keeps options open.

pcat doesn't have a physics section.


Pharmacy requires EITHER grade 12 physics OR a full year of physics with lab (1B03 + 1BB3/1BA3)

All of this info can be found by looking at the websites for the pharmacy schools you're interested in.
