Do we round up for CA?
Hey guys,

I am wondering does the school rounds up our CA?

For example, if i get a CA with 3.95, does that show with 4 or 3.9 on my transcript? How about 3.97?

Thanks in advance.

Not too sure, I think they do, because on grade report it only reports to 1 zero digit.

I think they truncate rather than round - I'm not 100% sure though, but from what I remember, that's how it works.

So, if you needed a minimum of 4 to continue in your program, and you got 3.95, you would not meet the cutoff.

If you needed 4.0 and got 3.95, you should go see the counsellors and make a special plea with the appropriate dean for probation. They are not inflexible, and if you've been a good student in the past, you should get some kind of consideration. You can always plead extenuating circumstances, and try to qualify for a second chance. If you've already used up your second chance, then you might be out of luck!

Just realized the OP mean't 3.95/12 GPA, I was thinking 3.95 as in an 11.9 :/
