The Commerce program is more of an inconvenience than an education.

Higher GPA? I wish...
And in the classes with the "high GPA's", it's a prof who grills you before determining your grade.

And, in the same paragraph, Mr. Wiki says soy reduces the chance of prostate cancer. Why? Because women don't get prostate cancer.

Also I dislike the fact that the food places on campus do not accept debit/credit.
Union market does but no actual food and their coffee tastes like piss.

See, I flip back and forth on this, and I think I prefer it this way.
Think of how ridiculous the line-ups are and how much people paying cash slow it down. Throughout my entire time at Mac, I just loaded money onto my student card to use when buying food on campus, which was way more convenient and much faster, and didn't slow the line ridiculously.

But see they do accept Cash but not Debit/Credit. Cash is probably the least efficient way of paying as both sides of to fumble with change. I usually pay by credit but even if it was just debit, it would still be better than nothing

I have been to other schools, they accept debit/credit. The lines are faster than here.

like: The students here, how campus looks during spring, summer and fall, good profs (some of 'em), Macinsiders.
Dislikes: SOLAR (omg, i swear to God, someone needs to fix this thing), the disorganization of the biology department, the lack of course varieties, people who comes up to me and ask me to convert to Christians multiple times even though I politely said no thanks. (No offence to religious people), and Hamilton.

Women definitely cry more than men, I think we can all admit that.
Lake McMaster however, is a national treasure in any endeavor. Rest Assured.

To address a few concerns here: Campus WIFI is getting a major upgrade this May: http://www.facebook.com/MSUMcMaster/...26104707568565
McMaster University allocated $40 Million to a project called Systems Renewal in 2010. The project will revitalize and rebuild from scratch the entirety of our IT Infrastructure on Campus over the next 4-5 years. Part of that project will include a new SOLAR which will be rolling out at best by Summer 2014, because the student records system is so intricately connected to over 100 offices, there is an extensive construction phase involved which takes into account the ongoing operations of the University which cannot be delayed/derailed by rapid implementation of new software, 4-5 years is the industry standard time for such large and complex organizations. I am the student rep on that committee so feel free to ask more questions or visit: http://www.mcmaster.ca/uts/systemsrenewal/index.html
As for the Debit/Credit, McMaster Hospitality has a natural disincentive to offer Credit/Debit transactions since they cost the seller anywhere from $0.10 to 0.25c per transaction, that's why some convenience stores charge you for using plastic below a certain amount, it also delays the lines since there is no guaranteed service with uninterrupted speed and McMaster also has invested into the electronic Student ID. What most people don't know is that they can load up money onto their Student Card even as upper years (via their office in Centro) and they get a 5% discount for every transaction AND it's faster then cash. I get very confused as to how credit/debit is a constant complaint given the Student ID alternative! Can anyone please explain why?
Twelveighty also offers debit/credit and Student ID payments if that's what people still prefer and has cheaper meal options then La Piazza (Shameless plug).

I'm hoping you mean snack size, Funky Monkeys are probably the worst drink you can have from their menu.
