Actually, I met a guy on it and he gave me his room number and told me he'd meet me downstairs. I , ofcourse, did not meet up with him since I do not participate in homosexual activity. Thank you and have a nice day.

Purposely show up right before class starts when there are little seats left and sit beside a random girl and start commencing conversation. A good ice breaker is introducing yourself. Make sure she is alone, because no girl wants to be alone.

IMO clubs, teams, sports. You get somewhat of an interest to base conversations/future meetings on..

Did this a few times.
Their boyfriend, who they was saving a seat for, always end up interrupting. 
Even worst now because its winter. Too many coats to "reserve" seats... |
