It's sort of an internet joke. Due to the abundance of ridiculous and improbable claims made by people online, "pics or it didn't happen" has sort of become the standard response to anything that could be untrue.

I just found it funny that that is almost exactly what you said, albeit with a far more formal choice of words.

What I really wanted to ask though, was if I made eye contact with Sir Kinkyboots as I was walking out of my exam earlier today around 4:35. Not that I'm saying all long-haired men look the same, but there's this sense of familiarity that's been sort of bugging me and I couldn't pinpoint where I'd seen him before until I remembered this topic.
