Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
I am currently in Honours Biology and applying to the University of Guelph's DVM program at the end of second year, and was wondering if there are any courses that I should take (other than their pre-set prerequisites)? So far I have:

First Term
Stats 2B03
Bio 2D03
Bio 2B03
Orgo 2OA3

Second Term
Bio Chem 2EE3
Earth Sci 2MM3
Bio 2A03

Any advice or tips on these courses? Any other courses I should take or recommendations for easy useful electives?

Thanks!

You should probably take Bio 3F03 next year.

Some grad schools want you to carry a full course load; if UGuelph doesn't, I suppose that'll help you manage your time

Considering Guelph is the only DVM program in Ontario, it would be easy to write-off an applicant if they don't take a full course load.

I'm assuming they're looking for more courses to fill up their 30 units though.

I think you need Stats 2D03 instead of Stats 2B03, because the prerequisites need a calculus based Stats , and only Stats 2D03 is available. Also, have you fulfill the 2 courses of humanities/ social sciences?

i am going into my 3rd year, and planning to apply to vet school too
