Are you sure it's a double, triple room? In previous years, I had an A next to my room number, yet it was a single room.

B could refer to basement. B could also refer to a wing. the 107A means you are in room 107 and are assigned double or triple or bunk+loft and you get bed A. Maybe you have no roommmate yet
