It actually re-opens July 13th until something like August 3rd. And then opens again on August 13th onwards, until September 21st I believe (for drop/adds).

Ownaginatios says thanks to feonateresa for this post.

The first is true. When it opens on August 13th it stays open until the end.

Oh yeah! Yes that's true, just after September 21st, you can't get a refund for courses you've dropped.

It's actually less refund, you only get a certain percentage which keeps on dropping as time goes by.

Unless its a second term course, I think. I dropped a course last year and added a new one, and I don't think I got charged. Although now I'm not so sure...

Yeah I'm not really sure. A couple of my friends dropped courses and didn't get any money back, but that might've been really late in the year or something.

I'm not sure what the dates are for second term.

EDIT - It says the dates in the pdf Jeremy posted. =)

If you dropped the course and then added a new one, the money you should have recieved probably went towards paying for the new course.

Depending on what both courses are of course. Some courses cost more than others:

Yeah, that's what I assume happened. But if I hadn't gotten the refund, I would have owed about 500 dollars for the switch. Which would have sucked.

I didn't even think about the prices for the courses, I never knew that some cost more than others until just recently. Luckily they were both science courses!

Yeah, the link I supplied belongs to the 2009/2010 undergraduate calendar.
