When does SOLAR Re-Open? - MacInsiders - Student-run McMaster University Help Forum

I'm just wondering the date when SOLAR is supposed to re-open so that we can drop/add courses again. I've been getting mixed answers lately, so I just wanted to make sure I know the correct date because there are still a couple of classes I wanna try to get into.

July 11th. If you open SOLAR it'll tell you beside Undergrad Fall/Winter registration when SOLAR will be available for you.

Hmm, I thought it was July 11th initially, but then I went onto SOLAR to check and under "Dates Available" it says "Jun 14 2011 through Jun 20 2011 except Aug 02 2011 through Aug 09 2011".
Either way I'll still try logging onto SOLAR on the 11th.

Yeah, that itself doesn't make sense... the exception doesn't even fall between the dates available Lol. It will definitively be open on the 11th until August 1st.

PLEASE NOTE:

You're right I just saw that. But like Jeremy mentioned, it doesn't even include the dates when SOLAR closes for sectioning. So definitely try to get in on the 11th. I remember that happened last year and I panicked thinking that it wouldn't open on time but it did. So hopefully the 14th thing is just a mistake!
