Don't Meet the Requisites for WHMIS 1A00 (Science 1a00)
Hey everyone, I'm starting my second year at Mac but I have changed programs so will be starting form scratch. Originally I was in B.Tech (biotechnology) but was able to transfer into Eng.

While trying to sign up for courses it told me that I had to add WHMIS 1A00 in order to register. However, after adding it I was told that I don't meet the requisites for the course....but there are no prerequisites. Is there anyway I can fix this, or should I call the school tomorrow and try and talk to someone there?

Thanks in advance!

Contact your academic advisor and they'll waiver any prereqs so you can add the course on SOLAR.

you already completed it last year as ENG TECH 1A00. they just streamlined them all to be the same course (Before it was SCIENCE 1A00 and a bunch of other ones).

I would say, book an appointment with Sally Williams and talk to her about it. Don't try calling the faculty of engineering, you will never be able to get hold of them (especially Sally).
The drop in hours for Sally are mon-fri from 1:30-4 pm
