science 1A00 is now available on avenue!!
To upper years how hard is this test?
do we get unlimited tries if we fail?

1. It's ridiculously easy
2. It depends how it's set up. In my year there was 1 try and if you failed you had to contact the science department and they gave you another chance.

you can do it as much as you want .. but dont worry just watch the video and you'll do fine !  |

I had one question that was like "McMaster wishes to ensure the safety of its employees and students"... true or false? LOLZzzZ
To get to the video, click on ENGINEER 1A00: SAFETY TRAINING - ENGTECH 1A00 - SCIENCE 1A00 on your homepage, then click contents in the overhead menu, and there's a button for course video and other things.

its unlimited...the video didnt work in my year (****in ELMM i dont miss u at all) so u might hav to wait till they fix it

You'd be surprised... if you've ever done circuits in high school physics, all it requires is common sense and like 2 equations. A lot of people did bad in that section...

lol does it matter if I get perfect or not
I got 1 wrong it was something about mcmaster president or something
Is there like a bonus if I get perfect?
P.S. the video was complete waste I stopped watching after first 2 minute

No I don't think there are bonus marks. These safety courses aren't for single courses but for a variety of courses.
All you need is 80% I believe.

You need to get 12/14 right to pass and you can retake it as many times as you want until you pass.

It's its own course which is worth 0 credits.

Passed! Got one question wrong! But it is quite easy.
I am really glad it is just done online, I had the impression that it was an actually lesson in class during our first week or something.
