If there is one thing I have learnt at Mac it's that you may think you have time, but you actually don't. Time really flies by so it is good that you are getting started as first years. I started in my second year and found most people to be doing the same in third or fourth year. Unfortunately, some of those upper year students did not get their certificate.

Awesome!
By the way, how many electives do we get to take again?

I believe it's 4 to complete the certificate. Not sure if you can take more though.

You need 8 workshops - all of the 4 that are required and 4 from a list of optionals. You can take more than just 4 optionals. You may even want to refresh your memory in later years for the more important ones (networking; how to get hired). Keep in mind also that other workshops can be substituted for the optional ones, but you must check first. For example, this year there is/was a student governance workshop for 5 weeks, which could have been used as an optional workshop (the whole 5 weeks, not each meeting).

So if I want to apply for the program, is there a place I should register for it?and any fee?
And should I randomly show up for the workshops and after I have completed the requirements for the certificate, I am automatically enrolled in it and get the certificate? :S
Let me know about the registration process I would like to be part of this program
