Isn't Life Sci 2c03 a brand new course...Running for the first time next term?

I think 2F03 with Goldreich was a pretty tough course...it was my lowest mark this term =( the material on the midterm and the exam included the textbook and his lecture slides so it was a lot to study for...I also heard Ullal was a better prof in terms of teaching 2F03.

Someone asked about Dukas, I liked him as a prof. He was monotone, but some of the things that he said were hilarious and the movies were funny.

Ullal is great. I don't listen to people on ratemyprof because they tend to be people who are bitter about not getting good marks. Or people who don't spend enough time preparing for tests.

sinthusized says thanks to Lois for this post.

Psych 2E03 is 12-able. Most of the class did badly on the midterms though.

A textbook required for PSYCH 2E03 (Sensory Processes)

OR is it a waste of money?

hey i saw on course outlines that the test questions are 90 % lecture and 10% text book. So I guess it will depend on whether you choose to read it :p

i took 2e03 during the summer and 2f03 last year.. both courses don't require textbook.. you must go to his classes to understand some of the processes because the slides are kinda vague sometimes.. and in class, he sometimes tells you what's not on the test/exam.. for tests and exams, i would say it was purely memorizing the slides, like the little details.. i.e. one of the questions on my 2f03 test was what's the protein coat called that forms the vesicle during endocytosis and the answer was clathrin or something like that.. but he didn't really talk about that in class (not that i can recall) and the diagram of it wasn't that big, so you might think it was not someting worth memorizing but it actually is. it was a fill in the blank question..
memorizing the diagrams are impt because he asks you to label some stuff...
generally, i think it was great course.. i enjoyed it..

he teaches psych 3j03 too... anyone taking psych 3j03? or took it already? i haven't found reviews on it
