Dr. Peace is a professor in the Geography and Earth Sciences Department at McMaster. I had him for both GEO 1HS3 and GEO 2HC3 (both are now known as something else). Dr. Peace is a very good prof. His lectures are very easy to follow and he puts all of the most important information up on overheads (and most importantly he leaves it up long enough for you to copy it down!). He tends to ask a lot of open-ended questions, but I found that a lot of the time they helped me think more critically about a subject. I never felt bored in any of his classes (which is not something I can say about many of my other profs!). He even slips in some pretty funny jokes in lectures sometimes!
He assigns readings comparable to most other social science courses, however most of these readings aren't very important. In class he'll tell you what pages you should pay most attention to.
