dropping 6 unit courses this summer school
Hi. I am dropping 6 unit courses today (as of July 11th) before deadline. (July 20th) But I was doing this course on OSAP. Do I have to cough up that money back to government? or that's okay?

You'll have to pay them back. You'll probably receive an e-mail from them.

Unfortunately cancelling a class is not the same as dropping a class. Because you have already attended half of the whole course, the entire tuition is non-refundable. I would encourage you to get your money's worth and attend the rest of the classes even though you're cancelling so you're prepared for it when you take the class again.

Yes I suggest you keep the course.

Well I'm sure they have a reason to be cancelling (i.e. poor grades, other obligations, etc.) but it doesn't mean you're not allowed to go to classes you've paid in full for.

But yes if you're doing okay and want to cancel the course because you don't like it, you'll regret it. I've done this twice, both times I've regretted it.
