McMaster's math department has hit rock bottom. Gabardo was the number one prof last year too (and that's relative... He still didn't do a good job) and because this class needs a cherry on top, they're not allowed to use calculators on their test tomorrow.
I remember last year, right before this test, when Gabardo gave a speech on how you could use your calculator to solve some of the matrix stuff, and how it was key for students to learn those features if they wanted to finish the test on time. Now, they've taken the tool away that they praised so much last year.

That's why I dropped Math and taking it in summer. Apparently, people get easy 10+ during spring+summer classes for 2Z03 and 2ZZ3

Well, I hate to be the devil's advocate but I did better on the second one than the first. I found the second to be far fairer than the first too.

That's always how this class goes. The first test makes you think it's all good bro, and then they curb stomp you on everything after that.
It's like the McDonalds monopoly game; they make you think you're close to winning by making two of the three properties you need super common, but in reality - there is an almost 0% chance you will ever get that third property.
