It's likely that Nintendo will destroy the competition again for the second year in a row. I mean, the best conventions have always been when new hardware is announced. Not to mention playable. We could very well see a new Mario, Super Smash Bros., etc.

I am worried about Skyward Sword though. I am willing to bet that they delay it just to make it a "Cafe" launch title, like they did with Twilight Princess and the Wii.

The Last Guardian, Dragon's Dogma, Dark Souls, SSX: Deadly Decents, Bioshock Infinate, MGS HD Collection, ZOE HD Collection, and Asura's Wrath are all pretty exciting...

I just saw these.

Pack it up, everyone. Konami just swept E3.

...speaking of which, here's hoping that Konami's presser this year is -half- as entertaining as last year's.

Looking forward to those three. Especially Dark Souls, Demon's Souls was amazing

I'm not sure what the other games are... haven't done as much console gaming recently lol

If you're interested in Dark Soul's, take a look at the vids for Dragon's Dogma

Also worth noting: Valve explicitly stated that they would -not- be debuting anything new at E3 this year. However, they said the same thing about Portal 2 last year. And, well, look at how that turned out.

Mass Effect 3 deserves a mention too. Expect a trailer and onstage demo during either Microsoft's or EA's presser.

Episode Three is quickly becoming the next Duke Nukem Forever.

Also, my most anticipated game of E3:

**** the **** yeah.

Update: Konami just wrapped up their pre-E3 press conference a few hours ago. For those of you who are interested, here is a link to the video.

Otherwise, I'll sum up the major news below:
  • Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater trailer revealed
  • Silent Hill Collection, Silent Hill: Downpour announced
  • Kojima presents a hilarious Mega64 skit to explain "Transfarring", can be seen here (Superior version here)
  • Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and Zone of the Enders HD Collection announced for PS3 and Xbox 360
  • Metal Gear Solid Rising still scheduled for 2012, will -not- appear at E3 2011
  • Kojima briefly shows off his new multi-platform "Fox" engine, will be used in his next game
  • Contra returns

It saddens me Blizzard is essentially not participating (they have Blizzcon in October), because I need to get my hands on some SC2 Heart of the Swarm goodness, asap.

Aside from that, the only things I care about are Skyrim and Mass Effect 3. I used to skip school on Mondays and Fridays in Grade 10 to play Oblivion...

I also skipped a LOT of class to replay through ME1 and ME2 this year <_<
