Earth and Envir Science
Sry i posted this already but i really need an answer. I did something dumb and picked earth science instead of environmental science 1g03. Yet they are cross listed and are taught by the same person and at the same times and everything the same except different names. What should i do? since i need evnir sci 1g03 to fulfill my requirements. I cant switch now its full and i tried to switch earlier but it says i cant drop and add the same course (since its cross listed) so am i good? or do i need to try and switch?

courses are sometimes crosslisted like that for people in different programs. The best thing to do would be to call the Office of the Associate Dean of science to see if they can clear it up.

Here is their contact info: http://www.science.mcmaster. ca/mai...ml#associa te

You can send them an email but it would probably be best to go in person or call.

Does it really matter though? they are the same exact course with a different name.

I think it matters for admin purposes. If a certain course is required you should take THAT course and not the one cross-listed.

Yeah, I was just going to say, I did the same thing - but since it's crosslisted, it actually doesn't matter. ^_^
