No teacher has been found/assigned for this course next semester yet. The posting for the job just closed so it should be announced in a couple weeks.

As of November 13th there is no teacher assigned...trust me. It may end up being Bernier or Basik, but that hasn't been decided yet

Bernier isn't hard. He is fair.
As long as you do your work, you'll do fine.

The main difference between those 2 profs is that for Bernier's class, you actually have to attend his lectures, keep up with the stuff, and most importantly study for tests/exam
Whereas for Basik's class, you don't need to attend a single class or study for tests/exam in order to get 12.

This term Basik has made it mandatory to go to the classes. 10% of your mark is attendance. and you do need to read over his exam review to do well on the midterm.

Hmm He must have changed a lot then.
When I was taking his course, my friends and I didn't attend a single class and we all got almost 100%.
He gave us the exam review thing as well, but that wasn't even necessary because every single question on the final exam was directly out of the online quiz questions.. lol so just memorizing the quiz questions was good enough to get us A+.

my friend is taking it with basik this term and he did his midterm in literally 5 minutes because the questions were straight out of the quiz bank. but yes going to class is mandatory because of iclickers.

i had this class with bernier perviously, he is also very easy. don't know about this new prof though.

Daxberger just finished his Phd. This will be his first time teaching so no one will have a review on him. But I think ill stick with this course since it's not hard at all.

Ya i think he has changed he course up quite a bit because the exam is no longer multiple choice, it is learn 12 different disasters and he will have 3 randomly chosen that we need to write about.
