EARTH SCI 2GG3 Question!!
Is this Earth Sci 2GG3 (Natural Disasters) considered a credit towards humanities? I didn't take any humanities in level I and I need 6 units towards humanities or religious studies. I can't even look at the titles of some of the relig. studies classes without sneering. I heard this is a relatively easy elective and I will definitely be interested in it. Thanks in advance.

have you looked at the second year religious studies courses? there are some interesting sounding ones that you can take with no prereqs other than being in second year, or third year or whatever (like cults in north america; skepticism atheism and religious faith; death and dying etc)
there are also other second year humanities courses that have no prereqs that you can take, so dont only look at first year courses!

Do the religious studies classes include a lot of essay writing? I would consider RELIG ST. 2G03 Moral Issues. Death and dying sounds a little morbid to be studying for around exam time For humanities, critical thinking sounds decent. Know anything about it? - HUMAN 2C03. N 2C03

i havent taken religious studies yet but ive found a lot of info from the faculty website, they have past outlines of most courses so i get an idea of how the class is structured... of course the class structure can change but it gives you a good idea of if its a class based heavily on essays or participation or whatever
http://www.religiousstudies. mcmast...ings-2011-2012
and ive also looked at macinsiders reviews of course
ive never taken human 2c03 so i dont know anything about it, but look on macinsiders or google the course code and you might be able to find some stuff.. im in the same boat and have to take 6 units from hum/relig and so far ive only taken theatre&film 1t03 (which was awesome by the way aha) and im planning on taking a relig course this year, and it definitely took me a long time to find a course i would actually be interested in
