Took this course winter 2011.
In this course there were a number of quizes, 2 midterms and an exam.
The midterms in this course were very easy if you're able to comprehensively memorize the lecture slides. Averages on the tests were lower than a lot of people expected and...

Ive heard that recently they restructured the course and it has become a lot harder? Is this true or is it still an easy 11/12?

People realize that no class gives out all 12's right? The workload can be less and the material not all that difficult but the class average will never be above a 10 for a large class.

Anyone who's taken the course recently with Bernier, is quiz content on midterms or exam? And I guess, relatively, do you need to read the textbook on top of memorizing lecture slides for midterms/exam?

This course is really easy as the assessment is quizzes, an essay, and an exam. The quizzes are easy to 100% since you get 3 tries but the questions are different each time. The essay wasn't too bad and the exam is just case studies and an essay. Be sure to take this course with Dr. Bernier. Overall, this is a great elective to take, as I found it to be a breeze with minimal effort and finished with a 12.

Was the course easy in 2012 terms?
I heard that the course isn't as easy as it used to be.
Are there other Envir Sci course as easy as 2ww3?

enviro 2gg3 was relatively easy, especially if you took any first year enviro courses

This course is not an easy 12 by any means, I put off studying for all my other courses to 100% dedicate time to this course, and I ended off with a 6, please dont go into this course thinking its a bird course because its not.

Could you explain why you think you did bad? My friends told me it was easy they took it last semester they had 100% going in and need a 70% to finish with a 12 in the course but thanks for the warning |

While I've never taken this course, I have friends who have taken it and have been told it's ridiculously easy. I would question the authenticity of someone claiming to have invested 100% of their efforts to a course like this and come out with only a 6.
If you're looking for an easy 12, this is probably a safe bet... |
