Earth Sci 3MB3
Hey guys,

I am thinking of taking Earth Science 3MB3, can anyone who has taken it before tell me what the course is like. If someone has a course outline it will be great to have a look at . The instructor for the course is Dr. Pavlos Kanaroglou.

If you give me your email I can send you the outline.

This course used to be 2MB3. In my opinion it should have stayed a 2nd year course cause it wasn't that difficult. They teach basic stats, almost similar to Gr. 12 Data Management. We weren't required to know any complex formulas. The assignments involve using the TIBCO Spotfire program which basically does all the stats for you. The exam was basically like "Here's the situation. This stat was run. The p value was this. What can you tell from it?"

Tl;dr - basic stats, you'll find it really easy since you're in math & stats
