Easy Elective Courses
Alot of the courses I want to take are full so I have to find other easy electives. I;m a first-year student. Is Philosophy 1E03 course hard or ok? What about the labour studies courses?

I found Philos 1E03 to be verry easy but that's just me. I know others who took it and didn't do so great. Depends on what you do well. If you're not a good writer, don't take Philos 1E03

Has anyone tried taking English 1A03 and Communications 1A03?
Are they hard, require great effort, and have tests and exams that need "deep" studying?

I found labour studies 1co3 really easy... it depends on the prof and on your ta. we had a short analysis a term paper, an inclass midterm and an exam. the material is pretty common sense and i only did the readings right before the exam and midterm and i got a 12

First year English courses usually have an average of around a C/C+.
That is due mostly to the fact that high school students aren't taught how to write essays properly and have no idea what a citation is or how and when to use them.

Philos 1e03 has a written assignment every week. About 1 page long. You have to summarize and then object to one of the readings. They were like 5% each. There was also an essay. And the exam was two essays. Not sure about labour studies.
