So I need more electives to fulfill my degree requirements and I have got room for 2 courses in second semester. I was wondering then if it is a good idea to take both Econs together? Will the content get confusing or make it harder to understand either one?

Or if you'd like to suggest any other electives in place of 1BB3 that would be great. I am in Honours Life Science so something non-science would be rather great!

the only reason i would not recommend this is that you may have more than one midterm on the weekends, or they would be really close together. otherwise it is do-able

You are able to write midterms on Thurs evening if you wish to usually (1B03 atleast). I believe it is also offered in this summer term as well, so if you want to do that. 1B03 is not hard at all. 1BB3 is a little more math and you have to know more, other wise its do able

Last year, I took both in my first semester. The professors make sure that the midterms aren't at the same time, and last year there was a 2 or 3 hours space between the two. Both midterms take place on saturday, unless you do the early write. The first 4 chapters in discussed in class are exactly the same, and the first midterms for both classes have a lot of similar content on it. After that the content becomes different. It wasn't confusing for me having both at the same time. As mentioned above 1B03 is easier than 1BB3.
