Econ 2G03
Hi,

As anyone here taken Econ 2G03 this last past year? I've read up on the other threads regarding this course but couldn't find too much information on it. If you took the first 3 year Engineering Math courses are you well prepared for the Calculus in this course? Don't want to underestimate anything, and I'm open to comments and suggestions. Thanks,

Humza

if you took 1st year calc and are ok with algebra you will find econ 2g very easy math wise. you might also want to try econ 2h03, i found it easier and more math oriented

As was said before, if you've got a basic calc foundation you'll do fine. If you have Ivanov though, you'll have to devote a bit more time to theory than you would with the other profs.

I hated Macro Econ, so I'll just stick with this.

I'll most probably have Hannah Holmes again, so hopefully it'll be not as bad with Ivanov.

EDIT:
I won't be able to take the course with Hannah Holmes unfortunately :(. If I wanted to take this course I'd have to take it with Ivanov/Leach/Mccabe. Can anyone recommend another 2nd year Econ course which would be a good elective to take?
