Anyone have any thoughts or advice on these courses?

both courses are really just reading articles, discussing them, presenting, and essay. marks are from participation, presentations, and one big essay (worth 3f 30% and 4a 40% i think, don't remember). should try to get dooley he's a good prof, friendly and very helpful

I heard he is hard though. Is this true?

no i think he's okay, if your having problems with your essay or presentation just ask he is very approachable and wants to help. and for the big essay at the end of each course he usually lets you hand in a draft like a week or two before the due date and gives you a mark and you can make improvements for the final copy

I strongly reccomend taking these courses with professor Dooley. He is extremely dedicated to the course, has very clear expectations, and helps you get something out of the course. I went with a different professor for 4A03 and in hindsight shouldn't have done that.

Professor Johri is an excellent choice if you like Macroeconomics. He teaches 4TT3 and is perhaps my favorite professor at McMaster.

I couldn't comment on the other professors.
