Economics Minor?
Is it possible to complete a Minor in Economics without Grade 12 Advanced Functions or Calculus? I'm interested in economic theory, but not so much in math.... I've consulted the course calendar but I'm still not sure.

You would need to play catch up with the University's equivalency calc course (i forget which). First year econ classes require rudimentary calculus, and I think that you would be fine after that for second year economics courses, especially theoretical stuff.

natashapoly says thanks to deadpool for this post.

So in first year I could take 1K03 and 1M03 and build off of that?

I don't think it's actually necessary to take Math 1M03. I took Econ 1B03, which has more math components compared to Econ 1BB3, and there really is no significant Stats component to it. Actually, I don't even think I applied Gr. 12 Calculus knowledge in this course...

Quester, it's not about what you applied from gr. 12 calc in the econ course, but the PREREQUISITES which are required to take the econ course.
the core 2nd year courses which are essentially required to complete the minor, 2g03 and 2h03 require math equivalents of gr. 12 calc. You will be doing derivatives and partial derivatives.
Check the undergraduate calendar for what is required natashapoly
